Soy Cris, una profe de Valencia (España) que comenzó a dar clases de español en 2016. Aparte de ser profesora de español, tengo dos grandes pasiones en la vida: el cine y viajar.
Amo el cine, su música, sus historias y lo que simbolizan. Creo que hay pelis que llegan para quedarse en tu corazón y te dan otra perspectiva de la vida. Además, me gusta mucho actuar y allá en donde he vivido, he asistido a clases de teatro.
Amo viajar, vivir en otros países y conocer a gente de diferentes culturas. Viví durante 10 meses en Sofía (Bulgaria). Allí pasé mi año Eramus y fue inolvidable: viajé y descubrí muchísimos lugares de Europa del Este. Era la primera vez que pasaba tanto tiempo fuera de casa y he de decir que me di cuenta de ¡lo divertido que es vivir en otro país!
También viví casi 3 años en EEUU en los estados de Washington y Nueva York. En Washington trabajé como profesora de español en un Middle School. Fue uno de los mejores años de mi vida. Viajé alrededor del país y por fin pisé lugares que solo había visto en las películas que tanto me gustan. Uno de mis lugares favoritos: Monument Valley.
Además, también volví a los EEUU como au pair. Fue una experiencia completamente diferente y más introspectiva. Aprendí mucho de mí misma, de mis habilidades y de mis talentos. Viví muy cerca de la ciudad de Nueva York (por lo que otro sueño cumplido) y además asistí a clases de teatro y cine al igual que hice en Washington. Aparte, en algunas horas libres, daba clases de español.
Tras terminar mi aventura al otro lado del océano, volví a España y comencé a dar clases de español online. Me encanta conocer a gente que vive en otra parte del mundo, me encanta enseñarles mi lengua, mi cultura, la forma que tenemos los españoles de ver la vida. Es un intercambio no solo del idioma en sí, sino un intercambio de realidades. ¡Me parece algo maravilloso!

I'm Cris, a Spanish teacher from Valencia (Spain) who started teaching Spanish as soon as I finished college in 2016. Apart from being a Spanish teacher, I have two big passions in my life: movies and travelling.
I love movies, their music, their stories and what they symbolize. I believe there are movies that reach your heart, stay there and they give you another perspective of life. Also, I love acting and I took acting classes everywhere I've lived.
I love travelling, living in other countries and knowing people from different backgrounds. I lived for 10 months in Sofia (Bulgaria). I spent there my Erasmus year (which is an exchange program you do when you are in College) and it was unforgettable: I travelled and discovered so many places from Eastern Europe. It was the first time I was far from home for a long period and I have to say I realized living in another country is so much fun!
Moreover, I lived for almost 3 years in USA, in the states of Washington and New York. In Washington I worked as a Spanish teacher in a Middle School. It was one of the best years of my life. I travelled around the country and I finally stepped on places I had only seen in the movies I love. One of my favorite places: Monument Valley.
Besides that experience, I went back to the USA as an au pair. It was a completely different experience and more introspective. I learnt a lot about myself, my skills and my talents. I lived very close to New York city (another accomplished dream) and I assisted to acting classes as I also did in Washington. Furthermore, in some spare hours, I taught some Spanish lessons.
Once my adventure on the other side of the ocean concluded, I came back to Spain and I started to teach Spanish online. I love meeting people who live in another part of the world, I love teaching them my language, my culture and the way Spaniards see life. It's an exchange, not only of languages but an exchange of realities. I think it's something wonderful!
